Overall, it was just a book that made the time pass. Sure, there was a strong love connection between them, but it didn't feel extraordinary or anything.
Leader of the Draegans Keiran Hareldson (how old?) and captain of the sorcerer's High Guard Gaige Rizik (32) was interesting, but didn't really make me feel like they were a leader and a captain, more just like two normal lovers. But the is in fact insta-love in it, and you all know, I despise it. However, this book did have a lot of potential. This new, second edition has been revised, with added content and word count, since its original release.
